Annual Support-A-Walk ~ Sunday, October 4, 2020

Walk With Us, Wherever You Are

The Support-A-Walk is our most important annual fundraiser. We rely on YOUR donations to sustain our free breast and ovarian cancer support services. We do NOT receive funds from Relay for Life, Making Strides, American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen, or any other national cancer group.

We ask anyone who participates in the Walk to donate whatever amount they can. EVERY donation makes a difference!

This year, we will walk where we are, near and far, to raise funds for our free breast and ovarian cancer support services.

Even though we can’t gather by the thousands in the park, we can still walk together and work together for a common cause. We are very excited! We serve people nationwide, and now people nationwide can walk with us.

*Check this page often for updates, news and announcements.

Walk Where You Are, Near or Far

The theme of this year’s Support-A-Walk is “Walk With Us, Wherever You Are.” This means we invite everyone to walk where you are, near or far, to participate and raise funds. We serve people nationwide, and we welcome people nationwide to walk with us. No matter where you live, you can make a difference by donating and raising funds for the Walk!

The Support-A-Walk is critically important to us, because the funds raised help sustain our free, year-round breast and ovarian cancer support services. As we all know, cancer does not stop for a pandemic.

Some of our supporters have already told us where they plan to walk, and why they’re walking. They’re all raising funds too. Read their inspiring stories!

We want to know your reasons for walking and where you will walk! Download and print our sign (or make your own), take a photo of yourself with your sign, and send it to us at walk@supportconnection.org. We’ll share the photos on our social media pages along with our hashtags #WhyIWalk and #WalkWithUsWhereverYouAre. We can’t wait to see all of you!

Download and Print our Signs

No matter where you walk, we invite you to use our signs to express your enthusiasm and reasons for participating. Download and print our signs, then fill them in with your personal reasons. We welcome you to send us photos too! Send to walk@supportconnection.org.

Seeking Community Ambassadors Nationwide

Community Ambassadors are volunteers who help spread the word about the Support-A-Walk by sharing Walk info and materials in their own communities.

This year, we’re seeking Community Ambassadors nationwide because we will all walk where we are, near and far. We serve people nationwide, and now people nationwide can join our Walk efforts!

There is no specific time commitment to be a Community Ambassador. Any help you can offer will make a difference!
