Carmel Cardinals Raise Funds for Support Connection

On Saturday, March 29, a group of Carmel residents known as “The Carmel Cardinals” held a fundraising event that raised close to $11,000 for Support Connection, Inc., a not-for-profit organization that provides free support services for people affected by breast and ovarian cancer.

“The Carmel Cardinals” are a group of friends and neighbors who, for the past several years, have organized fun events to raise money for charitable causes. The event to benefit Support Connection was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Carmel. Participants enjoyed dinner, dancing and Zumba. The evening was sponsored by Two Meatballs Pizzeria in North Salem.

Support Connection Executive Director Katherine Quinn says “We are so grateful to this amazing group of people! Their enthusiasm and dedication are awe-inspiring. We are so appreciative of their efforts and for the wonderful donation they’ve made, which will benefit so many people affected by breast and ovarian cancer.”
