Award is Based on Positive Online Reviews.
Support Connection announced today that it has been honored with a prestigious 2020 Top-Rated Award by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews about nonprofit organizations. This is the seventh consecutive year Support Connection has earned this distinction.
This Top-Rated Nonprofit award presented by GreatNonprofits is based on the large number of positive reviews Support Connection received. Online reviews are written by clients, volunteers, and donors. People share their personal experiences with the organization.
Here is a sample of one review: “I am ever so grateful for Support Connection. I lived in Virginia at the time and could not find the support I needed when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I searched the internet and found Support Connection. I talked with one of the counselors. She was extremely supportive and helpful. I called when I was in fear of going through chemo and of the future. Whenever I called someone was available. When I moved from VA to CA, the counselor said to me: ‘You are living your life and not living in the cancer diagnosis.’ I know I could not have made it through without their support and online workshops.”
While the Top-Rated Awards run through the end of October, Support Connection was part of the inaugural group to qualify for the year. Being on the Top-Rated list gives donors and volunteers more confidence that this is a credible organization. The reviews by clients, volunteers, and donors show the on-the-ground results of Support Connection. This award is a form of recognition by the community.
