Support Connection, Inc. is pleased to announce the winners of our 2017 Team Spirit Awards. The awards were presented in conjunction with the 2017 Annual Support-A-Walk for Breast and Ovarian Cancer, which took place on October 1st at FDR State Park in Yorktown Heights, NY.
Team Spirit Awards encourage friends, family members, co-workers and neighbors to “team up” for the Support-A-Walk. The Support-A-Walk is held to bring attention to the needs of people affected by breast and ovarian cancer, and to raise funds for Support Connection’s free support services for those living with these diseases.
Most Creative Team Banner
On the morning of the Walk, Teams were invited to have a photo taken of their handmade banner or sign. Then, the photos were reviewed by our contest judges: Support-A-Walk Ambassadors Sue Andersen and Ilene Cohen, and Support-A-Walk Honorary Chairpersons Kacey Morabito Grean of 100.7 WHUD Radio’s Mike and Kacey in the Morning, and Bill Powers of PowersPR Video.
